What other kinds of Damages are there?

Some of the damages related to your incident won’t appear on any medical bill or wages statement. Some of the effects that fall outside medical treatment and missed work can be mental health impacts, day-to-day adjustments or additional accommodations, or permanent pain or disability.

NOT EVERY LOSS APPEARS ON A MEDICAL BILL OR MISSED PAYSTUB

In order to determine the lasting effects of the incident, our team needs to know what other damages you suffered, how they have and continue to impact your life, and what you deserve to recover for those damages.

Examples can include:

  • Lasting pain & discomfort

  • Emotional distress or mental health issues

  • Disrupted sleep or work

  • Limitations on hobbies or daily activies

The challenge in this situation is knowing how to document these effects accurately and effectively. Our job is to clearly demonstrate these losses to the insurance company or to the court.
